Excellent film of a Southern New England railroad in early 1940s. Superb shots of steam engines in motion, "ALL ABOARD!" yelled by the conductor (some of our best shots of this!), and behind the scenes ft'g. of railroad workers. Passenger trains, freight trains, roundhouse, etc. Recommended.

Subject: This Is An Epic Film
Everything you ever wanted to know about "rayroads" is here on this thirty - something minute film.

I guess during the war GM wasn't interested in advertising much - so JH had some time for elaborate productions.
